IFES Georgia, in collaboration with the Central Election Commission of Georgia, under USAID-funded program Increased Trust in the Electoral Process (ITEP), plans to conduct customized module BRIDGE workshops for District Election Commission (DEC) members
in order to continue strengthening the mid-level election administration in Georgia.
This is the second set of the customized module workshops; the first set of introductory workshops was conducted in October 2009. Curriculum shall be designed based on the knowledge and skills gained during the first phase, focusing on the dispute resolution, and shall take the participants into depth of the principles of properly run elections.
Five permanent members of all 76 DECs (in total around 380 members) shall be attending the three and half (35) day BRIDGE workshop in period of Jan 22 - Feb 25, 2012. Two facilitation teams, consisting of one Workshop Facilitator and one (or two) semi-accredited facilitators (Team 1: Giorgi Sharabidze and Maia Zaridze; Team 2: Lasha Meladze and Natia Zarnadze; Team 3 (if needed) Natia Kashakashvili and Davit Todria) shall conduct the two simultaneous workshops, in total of 15 workshops, during the above mentioned period. It is expected that some of the semi-accredited facilitators shall complete their accreditation, through mentoring by Expert BRIDGE facilitator, Natia Kashakashvili.

2nd workshop
IFES Georgia, in collaboration with the Central Election Commission of Georgia, under USAID-funded program Increased Trust in the Electoral Process (ITEP), plans to conduct customized module BRIDGE workshops for District Election Commission (DEC) members
in order to continue strengthening the mid-level election administration in Georgia.
This is the second set of the customized module workshops; the first set of introductory workshops was conducted in October 2009. Curriculum shall be designed based on the knowledge and skills gained during the first phase, focusing on the dispute resolution, and shall take the participants into depth of the principles of properly run elections.
Five permanent members of all 76 DECs (in total around 380 members) shall be attending the three and half (35) day BRIDGE workshop in period of Jan 22 - Feb 25, 2012. Two facilitation teams, consisting of one Workshop Facilitator and one (or two) semi-accredited facilitators (Team 1: Giorgi Sharabidze and Maia Zaridze; Team 2: Lasha Meladze and Natia Zarnadze; Team 3 (if needed) Natia Kashakashvili and Davit Todria) shall conduct the two simultaneous workshops, in total of 15 workshops, during the above mentioned period. It is expected that some of the semi-accredited facilitators shall complete their accreditation, through mentoring by Expert BRIDGE facilitator, Natia Kashakashvili.

EU + funded Observation Dispute workshop in Gabon May 11
The Economic Community of Central African States (CEMAC) in collaboration with the National Autonomous and Permanent Electoral Commission of Gabon (CENAP) and in partnership with the European Union (Peace and Security Support Project – PAPS) will be hol
ding a BRIDGE training from May 10 through May 13, 2011. The training will touch on electoral observation and electoral dispute resolution and will be held in Libreville, Gabon. Most of the participants will be chairmen of central African electoral commissions.
Facilitator team includes: Kamissa Camara, Ibrahima Amadou Niang and Corneille Nangaa.
