IFES funded TtF workshop in Maldives Oct 11

Subsequent to the success of the BRIDGE Introduction to Electoral Administration Course in Malé, Maldives in September 2011, International Foundation for Electoral Systems- IFES in conjunction with the Elections Commission of the Maldives- ECM organised a TtF on 22 October – 02 November 2011 in Bandos Island. The participants represented the ECM and other professional institutions and government departments. Included in this group of were some of the ECM staff members who attended the Introduction Module in September. These participants were identified as potential BRIDGE facilitators and therefore deserved this opportunity due to their participation during the workshop and their demonstration of various skills and expertise in training and content knowledge. IFES provided funds for the programme including funds for course materials, accommodation, subsistence and travel for facilitators and participants and consultancy fees for the international facilitator.
