The course was held in Nairobi at the Holiday Inn Westlands from 26 to 27 November 2007.  The training course sought to introduce the newly-appointed Commissioners to key concepts of election administration, serving almost as an induction course. The 2-day course served broadly to focus on covered topics such as electoral management bodies and principles, the electoral cycle, operational oversight and Election Day arrangements.
