RIP Tom Alick Kalo

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this article.  Last night our good friend and colleague from the Vanuatu Electoral Office, Tom Alick Kalo passed away suddenly.   Tom will have been known to many in the BRIDGE family, especially from around the Pacific.  Tom was always a welcome, respected and vibrant BRIDGE participant and facilitator.  Tom was also a committed electoral administrator who was respected, especially, by the people of Vanuatu and all of us.  Tom’s larger than life personality will be missed not only in BRIDGE but from electoral administration and life in general.

We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Tom’s family.

Thank you eric for posting this up. Photo 3 will always be treasured to have him remembered for a friend he was.... We sang the "Wakabaoti long chinatown" song, a song that 4 every BRIDGE workshops we meet up and finds us in trouble wif the code of conducts, he'll always prefer to sing tis song...

Thank you very much Tom for being a wonderful friend...RIP
