The program is a discussion about the preparations for the Solomon Islands’ first national elections since the restoration of civil order by the Australian-led police intervention, known as RAMSI.

The process of restoring political credibility and good governance to the islands is a much longer term project. Mary Louise O’Callaghan talks about a couple of unusual, grass-roots attempts to do just that.
