BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

ECP to hold workshop on Electoral Systems Module

Pakistan’s Electoral Academy for Democratic Practices, Research & Management, the training arm of Election Commission of Pakistan, plans to conduct a five-day workshop on BRIDGE Module ‘Electoral Systems’ from 23rd to 27th June, 2025, for its 20 newly inducted Election Officers/Assistant Election Commissioners. The participants are already undergoing a comprehensive training programme under the Academy, which has been designed to fully equip the budding election administrators with skills set and conceptual knowledge not only to enable them to effectively perform core functions on assuming responsibilities but also to deal with relentless challenges in the political arena of elections. Apart from other extensive modular training content designed for the career-induction training, two BRIDGE Modules: Operational Planning and Electoral Systems, were included in the training curriculum to provide the participants with an opportunity of exploring the broader global horizon of best electoral practices. BRIDGE Module “Electoral Systems”, aimed at introducing the participants to a wider range of comparative electoral systems adopted and practiced by various countries, has been customized by a BRIDGE accredited facilitation team, comprising combination of experience and new talent, considering the specific training needs and exposure of participants.
