BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

From 16–18 July 2025, the National Elections Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), in collaboration with UNDP, will host a high-level BRIDGE Workshop on Building Institutional Excellence in Elections in Addis Ababa. Designed as a strategic onboarding for newly appointed Board Members and senior leadership, the workshop features the BRIDGE “Building Institutional Excellence” module—a globally recognized curriculum that strengthens leadership, strategic planning, and organizational cohesion. This initiative reflects a global best practice in electoral governance by ensuring that new EMB leaders are not only introduced to their roles but are also immersed in the principles of how strong institutions function—through transparent processes, ethical leadership, and a culture of integrity and professionalism.
