BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

BRIDGE workshop on Operational Planning Module

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has recently recruited 39 Assistant Election Commissioners, 1 Assistant Director, and 2 Research Associates in Grade-17. These 42 officers are currently undergoing service training at the Pakistan’s Electoral Academy for Democratic Practices, Research and Management (PADRM) in Islamabad, which commenced on 15th June 2026 and is scheduled to conclude in the first week of September 2026.

The training is designed to enhance the professional capabilities of the new appointees, with a focus on developing their interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, leadership qualities, and professionalism in electoral management. As part of this program, a BRIDGE workshop on Operational Planning Module has been included to broaden their professional knowledge from an international perspective.

Two BRIDGE workshops in Operational Planning Module have been scheduled for these 42 officers by dividing them into two groups. The first group of 21 officers will independently attend the first workshop from 17th to 19th August 2026, while the second group will independently participate in the second workshop from 31st August to 2nd September 2026.
