BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

Workshop on BRIDGE Module ‘Electoral Systems’

The Election Commission of Pakistan, through its training arm, Pakistan’s Electoral Academy for Democratic Practices, Research & Management (PADRM), intends to conduct 3-day Workshop on BRIDGE Module “Electoral Systems” from 17th to 19th August, 2026, for a group 21 participants, which would be followed by another workshop for 2nd group of 21 participants. Two BRIDGE Modules, “Electoral Systems” and “Operational Planning”, are part of comprehensive training curriculum devised for 43 newly appointed Assistant Election Commissioners and Assistant Directors to equip them with necessary conceptual knowledge of electoral processes and practical skills set before they assume their responsibilities in various spheres under the election management body.

The Facilitation Team for the series of two workshops has been drawn from the EMB’s own pool of BRIDGE affiliated facilitators as mix of experience and newly introduced talent. Content and curriculum for the workshops is entirely based on the Electoral Systems Module updated in 2026, which is tailored and tweaked according to learning needs of participants. Exposure and introduction of the participants to BRIDGE content and methodology at the outset their career is of immense significance in the context that the ECP aims to add to its strength capable and professional election administrators to take on future challenges.
