BRIDGE Facilitator Forum is now live!

21 March 2012

Recently the BRIDGE Office posed the question of whether an online forum for BRIDGE facilitators to network and chat would be welcomed. We got such a positive response that we’re happy to be able to announce the new Facilitators’ Forum is now live!

The Forum is only accessible to BRIDGE Facilitators and those with facilitator access (e.g. some BRIDGE practitioners and implementers). It’s a place where facilitators can chat about anything and everything to do with BRIDGE and BRIDGE facilitation. You can access it by clicking on the ‘Forum’ tab at the top of the website – you do need to be logged in to the website to access the chat boards.

The BRIDGE Office team will be moderating the forum regularly and will respond to queries, although you can still of course contact us directly at or through the ticket system on the website if you would prefer your query to remain private.

We’d like to remind everyone that this is still a work in progress, so please do give us feedback about what is working or not working for you on the forum. The ‘Suggestion Box’ category is available for this.

Some tips for use:

– Please don’t be afraid to dive in and chat – we would really like the forum to take on a life of its own!

– Please take the time to check your profile and update your details, as well as post a photo for your avatar.

– Please feel free to post in your own languages, particularly if you are after region-specific advice. We are still working on functionality for non-Roman alphabets, but we’ll work on this as we go.

– Please remember to be supportive and generous – we’d like the BRIDGE Facilitator Forum to have the same warmth as the BRIDGE community already does!

Many thanks to the following people: Alex Markham for suggesting a forum in the first place, and Ola Pettersson, Judy Birkenhead, Raelene Hunt and Cate Thompson for test-driving the forum.
