Civic, Voter Education and Voter Information workshop

UNDP in collaboration with Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) held a four-day BRIDGE training to civil society organizations and political party members on Civic and Voter Education and Voter Information. This training is part of the Strengthening Electoral and Legislative Processes (SELP) Projectimplemented by UNDP and funded by USAID and The Government of Japan. UNDP’s ARR attended the opening session of the workshop. During the course of the training participants were introduced to the guiding principles and international standards CV/VE/VI. Participants worked in groups to discuss the phases of Voter Education programs and developed plans. At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their appreciation of the interactive and participatory approach of BRIDGE trainings.
