Introduction to Electoral Administration workshop to the Elections Commission of Pakistan (ECP)

UNDP Pakistan delivered a 3-day BRIDGE workshop on introduction to electoral administration to the Elections Commission of Pakistan (ECP). This workshop that is part of UNDP’s – USAID funded – Strengthening Electoral and Legislative Processes (SELP) Project took place between November 06 – 08, 2024 in Karachi, Pakistan.

25 participants from ECPs different provincial offices in addition to the headquarters participated in the workshop. ECP took the lead in identifying and nominating the participants to this workshop. Seven of the participants were women. Many of the participants were newly hired or promoted electoral officers that were exposed to BRIDGE training for the first time. They appreciated the interactive and participatory approach of BRIDGE and mentioned that the gained experience from this workshop would be reflected in their work at ECP throughout the electoral cycle.
