Operational Planning

A BRIDGE training workshop co-organized by IDEA International and IFES for the technical staff of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization (MATD) was held at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Bamako, Mali, from 3 to 5 November 2022.

The workshop focused on the “Operational Planning” module and brought together about twenty agents from the General Directorate of Territorial Administration, the department in charge of electoral issues at MATD.

The workshop was facilitated by a team composed of

Emna ZGHONDA, accrediting facilitator;

Joachim BAGGNAN, Workshop facilitator

and Issa Tiema DIARRA, semi-accredited facilitator.

The content of the course presented on this occasion included the following:

– Electoral administration;

– Guiding principles of electoral administration

– Essential electoral tasks and operational planning

– Process risk management;

– Establishment of an electoral operations plan.

This modular workshop was an opportunity for Issa Tiema DIARRA to be fully accredited as Workshop Facilitator.
