The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) with the support of the United Nations Integrated Electoral Support Group (IESG) organised a BRIDGE modular workshop on Voter Registration from 8-10 August, 2022 in Puntland, Somalia. This BRIDGE workshop was a historic event, signalling commitment of the TPEC to set the wheels in motion towards state-wide democratic elections envisaged in December 2022.
The workshop, generously funded by Norway, Sweden and the USAID, drew a total of 35 participants comprising Commissioners, TPEC Regional Chairpersons and the secretariat.
