BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

BRIDGE Showcase on Disability Rights and Elections

The International Foundation for Electoral Systems is pleased to invite you to join a training on disability rights and elections at the Austrian Parliament in Vienna on February 21, 2023. This training, using the Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections (BRIDGE) curriculum, will be held the day before the Zero Project Conference 2023 on Independent Living, Political Participation & ICT. More details on the Zero Project can be found here. The specially customized BRIDGE workshop will include components on gender and disability, inclusive election technology, and reasonable accommodations in the political process. Participation is open to government officials and civil society representatives. Participants will receive a certificate recognizing their completion of the disability rights module.  There are only 30 available spaces, so please express your interest in the course as soon as possible, but no later than by January 20, 2023. Please send your name, title, organization, and one paragraph explaining your interest in the course and how you might apply learnings in your future work, to Rebecca Duncan at rduncan@ifes.org.
