Sierra Leone

The ECOWAS Network of Electoral Commission (ECONEC) with the funding of European Union and GIZ organize modular a Modular BRIDGE Training on Election Day and Results Management, the main objective is to equip participants with knowledge and skills to conduct preparatory activities related to election day and vote counting processes and all aspects related to electoral processes that may lead to the contestation of election results. Participant from Sierra Leone are member of Electoral Commission and must understand key aspects of the electoral process that can affect the outcome of elections. ECOWAS’ experiences in supporting electoral processes in West Africa, one major challenges that emerged in the region as source of inequal treatment is boundary delimitation but also lack of requisite skills and knowledge for optimal planning and execution of Election Day processes.
