BRIDGE workshop on ‘Electoral Systems’ Module

The Election Commission of Pakistan, through its training arm, Pakistan’s Electoral Academy for Democratic Practices, Research & Management (PADRM), plans to conduct 3-day Workshop on BRIDGE Module “Electoral Systems” from 31st August to 2nd September, 2026, for a 2nd group of 21 participants, in a series of two workshops for overall 42 newly appointed trainee officers, which are undergoing comprehensive pre-service training programme. BRIDGE Module, “Electoral Systems” is part of training curriculum devised for newly recruited Assistant Election Commissioners and Assistant Directors to equip them with necessary conceptual knowledge of electoral processes and practical skills before they embark on their responsibilities in various spheres under the election management body.
The Facilitation Team for the workshop, drawn from the EMB’s own pool of BRIDGE affiliated facilitators, is the same, which has conducted the earlier workshop from 17th to 19th August, 2026. Content and curriculum for the workshops is entirely based on the Electoral Systems Module updated in 2026, which has been tailored and customized according to learning needs of participants. Exposure and introduction of the participants to BRIDGE content and methodology at the outset their career is of immense significance in the context that the ECP aims to strengthen its human resource pool with addition of professional election administrators to take on future challenges.
