BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has recently recruited 77 Election Officers in Grade-17. The first-ever Pre-Service Training (PST) is 16 weeks training which is being imparted to said officers in Federal Election Academy, Islamabad w.e.f 5th July 2021 to 29th October 2021. There are three Groups of said Election Officers in this training. This Training is aimed to enhance the professional capabilities of these new appointees by focusing on the development of their interpersonal skills, analytical skills, leadership qualities, and professional knowledge in respect of electoral management. The training is designed to enable the new appointees to create and lead an effective team and to make correct, prompt, and informed decisions during an election event. Election Commission has included three BRIDGE Workshops in aforesaid training which will be held in two weeks. The second of such workshops for each Group will be conducted using the Civic Education and Voter Information Modules.
