BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) in line with the approach, the MEC has embarked on preparation for the conduct of the 2025 Tripartite Elections to take place in September of that year. To ensure efficient and effective preparations, plans to build the capacity of all its staff through conduct of training in electoral processes using the BRIDGE training approach with focus on Introduction to Election Administration, Legal Framework and Voter Registration modules. The Modules have been selected to serve as orientation to new staff, orient staff on new electoral legal framework and prepare staff for the conduct of voter registration in September 2024. There will be two workshops running in parallel from 27th to 29th May 2024.
