BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

The Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN), in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), will be hosting a three-day customised BRIDGE modular workshop, “Introduction to Electoral Administration”. The participants will be drawn from Chapter 12 Constitutional Commissions and civil society organisations, as key election stakeholders. The workshop’s objectives are to enhance knowledge of electoral standards and principles, effective electoral management techniques and best practices, and promote transparency, accountability, and credibility in electoral practices.

The Workshop will serve as a critical platform for Zimbabwe’s election stakeholders to review the country’s electoral standards against international standards and principles, as well as standards of best practice, and engage in open discussions, fostering broad consensus necessary for meaningful electoral reform.
