The Commission plans to hold a workshop in Kitwe, Zambia from 11th to 15th December 2023. This will be an orientation Training for 26 District Electoral Officers and 3 Provincial Electoral Officers using the BRIDGE module, i.e. “ a customised introduction to electoral administration.” Therefore, the purpose of this planned training is to equip the Electoral Officers with the skills of managing various electoral activities in readiness for the conduct of the 13^th August 2026 General Election. The Commission will embark on conducting some of key electoral preparatory activities starting in the second quarter of 2024 and it is being recommended that the officers undergo the training before the commencement of the key activities leading to the General Election.
