BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

Gender equality and elections modular workshop in Ukraine

During July 2-4, 2024, IFES in cooperation with the joint IFES-Central Election Commission (CEC) Administrative Center for the Training of Elections Process Participants (Training Center) will conduct a three-day workshop on Gender equality and elections. The event will gather representatives from CEC of Ukraine and civil society.

This workshop aims to familiarize participants with international principles of elections, ensure women’s participation in elections, develop strategies to encourage women’s participation and consider the electoral process from a gender perspective. 

Special attention will be paid to ensuring women’s representation through the implementation of a particular electoral system. 

This workshop will be facilitated by Accrediting level facilitators Evgeniy Krikopolo and Yevheniia Pavlovska and two TtF-completed facilitators Igor Slyshynskyi and Vitalina Davydenko.
