Honduras, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Elections, 13-15 June 2022, UNDP

13 June - 15 June

Honduras

In the lessons learned workshop, held at the end of March 2022, the need arose to strengthen the capacities of the Honduran electoral bodies: the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Electoral Justice Court (TJE) and the Unit of Financing, Transparency and Control (UFTF), and it was agreed to do so using the BRIDGE workshop methodology.

To make this initiative effective, the UNDP electoral project “Support Project for the Electoral Cycle in Honduras for Transparent and Peaceful Elections 2020-2022”, with the support of the Office of Governance and Peace of the UNDP Regional Center for Latin America and the Caribbean, have agreed to design and execute five BRIDGE thematic workshops.

The five thematic workshops will be: Three on Strategic Electoral Planning, one for each institution; a workshop on Inclusion for the three institutions together, and a fifth workshop whose theme and beneficiary institution are yet to be defined.

The workshops will last three days and the schedule is as follows:
