BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission(ZEC) is an Election Management Body whose constitutional mandate is to conduct elections and referendums in Zimbabwe. ZEC employed new staff who are not yet familiar with professional election administration. The Commission after analysing the BRIDGE Curriculum recommended it as a comprehensive package to strengthen the capacity of its staff to conduct election and related tasks. This BRIDGE Workshop training is aimed at skilling new employees in election management. The training is expected to capacitate the participants with election administration Principles and their application. It will also equip them with knowledge on gender and elections so that they embrace gender issues in their election administration. This BRIDGE training will also expose participants to voter registration principles to enable they take up voter registration tasks.
