On April 23 – 26, 2018 IFES Ukraine in cooperation with the joint IFES-Central Election Commission (CEC) Administrative Center for the Training of Elections Process Participants will conduct a four-day workshop on Media and elections using the BRIDGE curriculum. Training “Media and Elections” will provide participants with knowledge of the international principles of the electoral process and media guidelines during elections. Participants will have the opportunity to define and analyze the role of the media throughout the electoral cycle. During the training, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the laws that regulate the media during the elections, as well as with the codes of conduct of different countries. Participants will be able to develop the principles of positive relations of the Electoral Management Body (OIM) and the media; and also, to understand the strategy of communication between the EMB and the media.
