BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

Summary – On May 30-31, 2018, IFES will conduct a two-day workshop on disability rights using the Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections (BRIDGE) curriculum. The event will gather 25 representatives from the CEC, disabled persons organizations (DPOs) and election monitoring organizations. The workshop will engage participants on various issues including equal access barriers and strategies for persons with disabilities, the role of EMBs and civil society in eliminating these barriers as well as best practices in disability rights, inclusive accessible voter education, and legal framework for disability inclusion in elections. This workshop will be delivered by accredited BRIDGE facilitators from the USAID RADA Program and the Joint IFES-CEC Administrative Center for Training of Election Process Participants (Training Center).
