Lines That Matter: Key Principles for Electoral Boundary Delimitation for CSOs

13 August - 15 August

Liberia

The National Elections Commission (NEC) of Liberia has embarked on the second BRIDGE Training Module titled “Lines That Matter: Key Principles for Electoral Boundary Delimitation,” focusing on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). This workshop is part of NEC’s broader initiative to promote fair, transparent, and data-driven electoral boundary delimitation, addressing the long-standing issue of electoral district malapportionment. By engaging CSOs, the NEC aims to foster inclusive dialogue, enhance stakeholder understanding, and build momentum for meaningful electoral reform.

The initiative is supported by the UNDP Liberia Electoral Support Project in partnership with the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD), and co-funded by the European Union, Irish Aid, the Embassy of Sweden, and UNDP.
