BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

NEC Liberia Reviews Communications Strategy with Support from EU EPD and UNDP

The Communications Section of the National Elections Commission (NEC) Liberia has launched a strategic review of its Communications Strategy, aiming to enhance public engagement and long-term impact. Supported by the European Union in Liberia and UNDP Liberia, the process began on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, and will unfold over four workshops, mentoring and guiding the implementation of agreed activities, and individual coaching sessions spanning through August and September 2025. Facilitated by Theophilus Dowetin of the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) and Zage Filiposki, UNDP Capacity Development Specialist, the sessions are designed to strengthen NEC’s communication channels and improve the effectiveness and impact of its public information efforts. The final strategy will be submitted to the NEC Board of Commissioners for approval, reinforcing NEC’s commitment to transparency, trust-building, and inclusive democratic participation.
