BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

Promoting accessibility of the electoral process in Armenia

On 25-26 November 2021, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia with the support of the UNDP and IFES will conduct a two-day BRIDGE workshop on the accessibility of the electoral process.

The workshop will bring together the representatives of the civil society organizations working on ensuring people with disabilities’ rights and election administration.

During the workshop, participants will learn international standards, regulations, and practices that help them in protecting the right of people with disabilities; identify barriers and find solutions to ensure their participation in the political and public lives, provide advocacy groups with tools and instruments to develop access strategies during the whole electoral cycle.
