The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is embarking on a strategic planning exercise. This follows the conclusion of the 2021 Sixth General Elections, the election lessons learned review involving a wide range of stakeholders between March – April 2022 and the completion of the February 2023 referendum. The strategic planning exercise aims to define the strategic direction of NEBEt and identify areas that would necessitate reforms, if any, of the electoral legal framework.
