Translating Institutional Excellence into Middle Management Practice

27 May - 30 May

Liberia

Disseminating Institutional Excellence to Middle Managers reflects NEC Liberia’s deliberate effort to translate its commitment to institutional excellence—launched in 2023—into practical, organization-wide change. Since then, the Commission has implemented a series of targeted Building Institutional Excellence modules focusing on communication, coordination, and building internal cohesion, followed by a reflective review of organizational culture that has led to meaningful mindset shifts and the cultivation of a growth-oriented culture. This transformation has been spearheaded by a core group of committed leaders and BRIDGE Facilitators, with technical support from international UNDP experts. As part of the Commission’s decentralization strategy, this workshop represents a key step forward in extending these gains beyond the central level—strategically disseminating, or as we deliberately frame it, “instilling,” middle managers with the vision, values, and practices of institutional excellence across all critical aspects of electoral operations.
