The Commission for the Registration of Political Associations and Approval of National Parties (CRPAANP) is a new institution mandated by Law No. 14/2011, of the Parliament of Somaliland, (with lots of expectations). One of the objectives of CRPAANP’s five-year strategic plan is to develop the institutional ability to support political parties and provide the appropriate training. The Commission intends to learn and adopt BRIDGE’s adult learning methodology in developing training tools and conducting capacity building both nationally and in the provinces after this TtF. There will be 20 participants at the training and this will include CRPAANP commissioners and chairperson. Facilitators will be Theophilus Dowetin (Ghana), Rindai Chipfunde-Vava (Zimbabwe) and Ann Nderitu (Kenya).
