The main objective of the workshop was to ensure gender responsiveness of the electoral processes in Ethiopia’s 6th General Election and beyond and increase media practitioners’ awareness on gender in the context of the electoral process; how to make the electoral cycle gender-responsive and enhance women’s political and civic participation; how to plan for gender-inclusive media coverage.
