BRIDGE Rule 1: All BRIDGE activities must be approved by the BRIDGE Partners.  Approval is obtained through the BRIDGE Portal. Therefore, BRIDGE implementers must request approval from the BRIDGE Secretariat for BRIDGE activities as soon as they can legitimately do so.

A one-day BRIDGE workshop titled “Youth and Elections” will be held at the League of Arab States’ General Secretariat in Cairo on 28 April 2026. The workshop will focus on strengthening participants’ understanding of the electoral process and the role of youth in promoting democratic participation.

It will cover key topics including the importance of elections, the electoral cycle, the legal framework, youth participation, and the role of artificial intelligence in elections, using an interactive BRIDGE methodology.

The workshop will bring together 22 young participants from the Arab Youth Platform for Sustainable Development, representing diverse academic backgrounds with balanced gender representation.
